Who we are
Boost Bite is an online food ordering service that connects customers with local restaurants, bakeries, and food businesses. This policy explains what personal data we process when you use the Boost Bite website or apps, why we process it, and how you can have it deleted. What data we collect
Account data — your name, email address, phone number, and password (stored as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider — never your social password.
Order data — the items you order, delivery addresses you enter or save, order notes, tips, promo codes you use, and your order history. If you order as a guest, we store the name, phone number, email, and address you enter so the restaurant can fulfil your order.
Payment data — card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers; we store only a payment reference and, if you choose to save a card, a Stripe customer identifier. Cash payments involve no payment data at all.
Technical data — basic device and usage information (browser type, approximate location if you share it for delivery, sign-in activity) used for security and to make the service work.
Why we process it
To take and deliver your orders, share the necessary details (name, phone, address, order items) with the restaurant fulfilling your order, process payments, keep your account secure, show you your order history, and — only if you opt in — send promotions. We do not sell your personal data.
Where it lives and who else sees it
Data is stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider) and our website runs on Vercel. Payments are handled by Stripe. Sign-in with Google or Facebook is handled by those providers under their own privacy policies. Restaurants see only what they need to prepare and deliver your order.
How long we keep it
Account and order data is kept while your account exists. When your account is deleted, your personal data is removed; order records required for the restaurant's bookkeeping are kept without your account link only where the law requires it.
Your rights and deleting your data
You can access and correct your data anytime under Account settings. You can delete your account and personal data yourself, or ask us to do it — see the data deletion instructions. You can also ask us at support@boostatm.com for a copy of your data or for corrections we should make.
